Since its foundation in 1996 in Amsterdam, Cenobite Records has stood at the forefront of innovation within the Hardcore scene. Born as a sub-label of the legendary Hellraiser Ultimate Hardcore Dance Events (I.S.P.), Cenobite quickly evolved into an independent and influential platform for Experimental Dance Music with a truly global reach.

Known to many as TranceCore or “Cenobite Style,” the label itself defines its sound as Psycore – Psychedelic Hardcore. A powerful fusion of Dark Hardcore, Breakbeat, Tekno, Acidcore, and PsyTrance, Psycore represents both musical freedom and a relentless drive to push boundaries. Cenobite’s sound has always been forward-thinking, drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum of genres while remaining deeply rooted in Hardcore energy and intensity.

In 2026, Cenobite Records reaches a historic milestone: 30 years of Psycore. This anniversary will be celebrated with a special 30 Years Cenobite Records Jubileum Event on September 5, 2026, at the renowned Melkweg in Amsterdam. Strength of Unity joins forces with Cenobite Records for a one-of-a-kind event that fuses the raw heritage of OSIB – Ouwe Stijl Is Botergeil with the historic 30 Years Cenobite Records Celebration. A symbolic return to its roots, this event honors three decades of innovation, unity, and uncompromising sound, bringing together the Cenobite Collective and its global family for a night that reflects the past, present, and future of Psychedelic Hardcore.

Today, the Cenobite Collective continues to ignite festivals and events worldwide, proving that the vision forged in 1996 remains as powerful and relevant as ever.
