Scifyre

As a teenager, Scifyre was into hip hop, breakbeat and hiphouse.
In early 1993 he got persuaded by friends to go to a hardcore party. Overwhelmed by the positive vibe, the energy and atmosphere, he was immediately hooked.

Using only an Amiga 500, he created his own tracks and released them for free in the trackerscene.

With the collapse of the saturated hardcore-scene in the end of the nineties, Scifyre lost his joy and stopped producing. He started to appreciate other dance more like techno, acid, goa, drum and bass and German hardtrance but never felt the desire to create his own.

Until 2021..
After a break of more than twenty years his passion for producing hardcore was ignited again. Using modern software and studio-equipment he made new tracks that have been released by various (net)labels. Scifyre’s signature style can best be described as raw and dark with little bits of trance and acid in it.
